Orientation on Financial Products and Services, RA 11765 Consumer Protection Act and related issuances held in Los Baños (March 24, 2026)
Isinagawa ang Orientation on Financial Products and Services, Consumer Protection Act (RA 11765) and other related issuances nitong Marso 24, 2026 (Martes) sa Municipal Multipurpose Hall. Dinaluhan at buong pusong sinuportahan ito ni Hon. Mayor Neil Andrew N. Nocon, na nagpahayag ng kanyang matibay na suporta sa mga inisyatibong nagpapalakas ng proteksyon ng mga mamimili at ng mga kooperatiba sa bayan.
Pinangunahan ang programa ng mga opisyal at tagapagsalita mula sa Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) IVA Extension Office at Head Office, kabilang sina Board Member II ASec Luz H. Yringco, Senior Cooperatives Development Specialist Lorelie R. Papa, Credit Surety Fund Service Director Joselito O. Hallazgo, at Inspection and Examination Division Chief Jo Ann C. Gamboa. Sa mga talakayan, ipinahayag ang kahalagahan ng proteksyon sa financial consumers at ang papel ng mga kooperatiba sa pagpapaunlad ng serbisyong pinansyal. Tinalakay rin ang mga mahahalagang polisiya gaya ng Financial Consumer Protection Assistance Management System (FCPAMS) at mga gabay para sa pagpapalakas ng micro at small cooperatives sa pamamagitan ng strategic partnerships at Credit Surety Fund (CSF) Program.
