MUNICIPAL MAYOR
MAYOR ANTHONY F. GENUINO
Anthony F. Genuino was born on November 27, 1982, and is best known by his constituents as “Ton.”
His father is Dr. Efraim Genuino, former Congressman of District II, Laguna and former Chairman of Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), and his mother Aurora Genuino, a former educator.
They became a great influence on his business skills and passion for education and he further entered politics to serve the people for a better cause.
He is also a proud father of 4 beautiful children, Ella, Enrique, Emillia, and Ellyse, and a loving husband to his wife Racquel Joan Genuino.
He graduated in 2005 from De la Salle College of St. Benilde with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Information System Management.
He became the youngest Mayor during his first term in 2010 – 2013 nationwide at the age of 27.
One of his accomplishments during his administration was the construction of the New and Modern Municipal Building of Los Baños.
After 10 years, he was re-elected as the 18th Mayor by the people of Los Baños from 2022-2024.
He’s currently the Vice President for Internal Affairs of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines – Laguna Mayor’s League.
“Bagong Los Baños” his flagship program, serves as the cornerstone of his administration to a progressive Los Baños.
His priority projects revolve around the sectors of Health, Bayan Development, Kabataan and Senior Citizens, Tourism, Agriculture and Livelihood, Infrastructure, Education, Peace and Order, and Environment.
As a leader, he is a kind-hearted one who understands the needs of his people and is always available in times of need.
He is also an influencer of passion to love, help, and serve the people with the best he can.
Most of all he is a visionary leader with a future-proof plan and long-term goal to create a massive impact of change on the development of Los Baños.
